★ est. 2012 — Austin, TXMovie Tavern began as a pop-up: friends, a bedsheet screen, homebrew and VHS tapes. Today it's a 3-floor cinema pub with two screening rooms, a rooftop, a vinyl booth and a kitchen that never closes during a film.
We don't do silent luxury. We do loud joy: sing-along musicals, horror nights with live organ, director brunches, trivia that gets heated, and kids matinees where popcorn refills are free.
